Understanding the Wizard Setup Mode and the Advanced Configuration Mode

You can choose to configure the Storage Central SC101 with Wizard Setup mode or Advanced Configuration mode. The table below explains both of these options.

    See Chapter 6, "Advanced Configuration for step-by-step instructions on how to use these options.
    All of the above plus:
  • Change the Storage Central admin password
  • Upload new firmware to an SC101
  • View SC101 status information
  • Change the hard disk name
  • Recover orphan drive partitions when a user on a PC detaches the drive but does not delete it from the disk.
  • Best for experienced users.
